The American Student Dental Association (ASDA) is the largest national organization dedicated to dental students with membership from 66 dental schools throughout the nation. Our chapter at the University of Oklahoma takes pride in the broad scope of involvement in the Oklahoma dental community. At OU, we have an average of 97% student membership including members from all 4 student classes. We continue to work hard to provide quality events and resources to all of our members.

Support from sponsors directly impacts future dental professionals. With numerous events throughout the year, our sponsors provide many leadership and networking opportunities that lay the foundation for a prosperous dental profession. As the cost of dental school education continues to rise, we are grateful that, through the support of our sponsors, we can invest in our members and their future success.

We have a variety of opportunities for you to customize your sponsorship, including scholarships for membership dues, travel, and leadership. Each year, students represent Oklahoma ASDA at various national and regional conferences and events, including ADA Dentist and Student Lobby Day, National Leadership Conference, and our District 9 Conference, amongst others. This year, our organization has been selected to attend the ADA SmileCon in October to represent our organization on an even larger stage. Along with these sponsorship opportunities, we also invite sponsors to participate in our local events such as lunch and learns, workshops, and happy hours. However, your support does not only go to support our campus efforts or student experiences. Your continued investment in the future dental professionals at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry has also allowed us the opportunity to begin to make that same investment back into our own community through various philanthropic efforts. Without this support, our organization certainly would not experience the success we have achieved.

As the daughter of a current Oklahoma dentist, I have personally seen the value and importance of community and connection amongst the dental community, both professionally and personally. In my year as president, I would like to continue to build on past years’ success and introduce new and engaging opportunities for dental students to begin to build their own dental communities that will serve them throughout their careers. I am hoping that this coming years’s sponsorships will allow us both to build our network within the larger dental community and help the future of dentistry continue to thrive.

How to Sponsor

To sponsor Oklahoma ASDA for the 2024-2025 academic year, please complete the

sponsorship form (attached separately) and submit in one of the ways listed below.

1. Email

   • Submit the PDF form of the Sponsorship Form via email to both of our vendor coordinators, Sandra Lee (sandra-lee@ouhsc.edu) and Paige Roberts (paige-roberts@ouhsc.edu)

2. Online Form

   • Submit the Online Sponsorship Form on our website, found under the Sponsors menu

3. Mail

   • Submit a printed version of the Sponsorship Form by mail.
