The American Student Dental Association (ASDA) is the largest national organization dedicated to dental students with membership from 66 dental schools throughout the nation. Our chapter at the University of Oklahoma takes pride in our broad scope of involvement in the Oklahoma dental community. At the University of Oklahoma, we have an average of 97% student membership including members from all 4 classes of students. Oklahoma ASDA is working as hard as ever to serve our students, profession, and community. We are happily back In full swing of events, having attendance at our events back to pre-pandemic numbers. It Is our mission to provide quality events and resources to all of our members. Support from sponsors directly impacts future dental professionals. With numerous events throughout the year, our sponsors provide many leadership and networking opportunities that lay the foundation for a healthy and prosperous dental profession. The cost of dental education and expenses continues to rise and with your support we are able to invest in our members. We have a variety of opportunities for you to customize your sponsorship including scholarships for membership dues, travel, and leadership. Each year, student representatives attend national & regional conferences such as the National Leadership Conference, Annual Session, ADA Dentist and Student Lobby Day, and the District 9 Leadership Retreat thanks to the help of our sponsors. Additionally, sponsors can participate in our annual events, workshops, lunch and learns, and happy hours.
So far with your annual sponsorships we have continued to support our local community. Our Miles for Smiles 5K has donated over $5000 a year to Good Shepherd Ministries Dental Clinic since 2018. Without the support of our sponsors, our organization would not this successful. Creating a partnership provides an avenue for companies to build awareness and brand name recognition among our dental community.
