National ASDA holds various meetings throughout the year to educate members on issues facing the dental profession and provide opportunities to meet students from different dental schools. National Leadership Conference
The National Leadership Conference (NLC) is geared towards personal development by providing leadership training to dental students across all years. Attendees can create customized schedules based on their personal knowledge, experience and interests, in order to benefit them as dental students and future practitioners, as well as leaders in organized dentistry.
Annual Session
Annual Session is official meeting of ASDA's House of Delegates (known by past attendees as "the best week ever") and the meeting during which association policy is voted on.
ADA Dentist and Student Lobby Day
During ADA Dentist and Student Lobby Day, students visit Capitol Hill to advocate on behalf of themselves and their patients. This unique experience gives ASDA members the opportunity to meet with lawmakers and staff to discuss the issues that will impact the education and training of dental students and future dentists.
