It was a way to combine her characteristics of loving to help people, communicating well, and wanting to make a difference. She attended Texas A&M University where she graduated in 2015 with her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. When she isn’t studying and being active in ASDA and other organizations, she loves to spend time with her husband and dogs, friends, and family.

Lynna Van '19 | Immediate Past President

Lynna (pronounced "lee-nuh") grew up in small-town Chelsea, Oklahoma, and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tulsa. Lynna is passionate about dentistry because the profession encompasses all aspects that she desires in a career: science, art, entrepreneurship, community, and the ability to go into academia. When she's not spreading ASDA fever, you can find her at a vintage market, in her home craft studio, or accumulating gnarly bruises from clumsy falls.

Mary Temple-Goins '20 | Vice President

Mary attended Oklahoma State University where she obtained a B.S. in Animal Science: Animal Biotechnology Technology. When she is not in school, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and of course her husband Michael and her 5 fur babies (4 dogs and a cat). Dylan Droege '20 | Treasurer

Dylan is a proud Texan that somehow ended up at the University of Oklahoma for undergrad, where he received his B.S. in Multidisciplinary Studies, emphasis in Business Administration. He loves reading books, listening to music, eating Blue Bell Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream, and drinking Ozarka water - as long as it was bottled in Texas.

Concurrently, she received an associate degree in American Sign Language from OSUOKC.  Jacy Rae was sold on dentistry in 6th grade when she was visiting her orthodontist every six weeks; she realized that dentistry combined her love of working with her hands and serving people.  When she is not in school, she is likely enjoying a sunset from Lake Thunderbird, spending time with her family and friends or sewing.

Kate Littlefield '20 | Vendor Coordinator

Kate grew up in Tulsa, OK as the youngest of five siblings. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2015 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. In her spare time, Kate loves spending time with her family and her dog, Augustus, doing crossword puzzles, and exploring OKC’s multitude of patios.

Cheryl Fleming '20 | Vendor Coordinator

When Cheryl told her mom in 7th grade she wanted to be a dentist, she made her volunteer as an assistant in a pediatric office. She completely fell in love with dentistry because of its perfect combination of art, meeting new people, and helping those she loves. Cheryl graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Science from Arkansas Tech University where she also ran cross country. When she is not busy studying, you can find Cheryl creating new recipes from dishes she tries at restaurants and exploring new places in OKC. She also enjoys painting, playing the piano, and being outdoors.
